Skull Chapel in Czermna
A capela foi construída em 1776 pelo pároco local, Wacław Tomaszek. É a vala comum de pessoas que morreram durante a Guerra dos Trinta Anos (1618-1648), três Guerras da Silésia (1740-1763), bem como de pessoas que morreram por causa de epidemias de cólera e fome. Juntamente com J. Schmidt e J. Langer, Tomaszek coletados ossos das vítimas e colocá-los na capela. Paredes desta pequena igreja, barroco estão cheios de três mil crânios, e há também os ossos de mais 21 mil pessoas enterrados no porão. Os crânios de pessoas que construíram a capela são colocados no centro do edifício e sobre o altar. É o único monumento na Polônia, e um dos três na Europa. A capela está situada em uma das mais antigas aldeias em Kłodzko County, perto de Kudowa Zdrój, na Baixa Silésia, na Polónia.
